Shipbuilder BALTIC YACHTS

BALTIC YACHTS is a Finnish sailboat shipyard, founded in 1973 in Bosund in the municipality of Larsmo in Finland. The manufactured sailboats are exclusive, with standard models between 15 and 20 meters, which are fully adapted and made according to the wishes of the customer. Since 2009, boats have also been manufactured in Jakobstad, where the head office is located. The shipyard has the capacity to build boats up to 86 meters. The largest boat built was delivered in 2011, the 60 meter long Hetairos ketchup with a displacement of 230 tonnes and 60 meter high masts, designed by Dykstra & Partners Naval Architects. The construction provided work for a few hundred people for two years. In 2013, Baltic Yachts became 80% owned by the German group Ottobock. Today, the builder has more than 500 yachts launched. In 2020, production of hybrid engine sailboats begins with the goal of banning fossil fuels. The Baltic 110 Custom is one of the first sailboats launched with an electric propulsion system, the electric motor is emission-free and converts into a generator using the yacht's freewheeling propeller while underway. The FROLSON team is proud to have and continue to insure the yachts produced by Baltic through the trust of our policyholders and our network of partners around the world. Baltic yachts benefit from premiums and advantageous conditions with insurers. Find below all the ships and projects of the Baltic yachts shipyard available for insurance.
