Founded in 1915 as the Campanella shipyard. In its early days, the company was a center for the maintenance and repair of commercial vessels. In 1970, with a new owner, the shipyard began to build superyachts under the MONDOMARINE brand. Acquired by Palumbo Superyachts in November 2018, luxury yacht builder Mondomarine manufactures aluminum and steel superyachts from 40 to 75 meters. The shipyard is part of the Palumbo Superyachts network, which also includes: ISA Yachts, Columbus Yachts, Extra Yachts and Palumbo SY Refit. The shipyard offers two new lines since the repurchase: the Classic and Discovery in addition to the independent yachts. Currently, Mondomarine has a representative office in Monaco and a logistics network of five shipyards across the Mediterranean: Ancona, Naples, Malta, Savona and Marseille.
